The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Boke Itrālosh is buildings are arranged arround a network of narrow packed earth streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The city posesses a mighty albit amaturly crafted stone wall. It was built using querried stone blocks and posesses all of the standard defencive features, including a few watch towers. While it would last against a siege, the wall's outdated and simplistic construction method percludes the possability of Boke Itrālosh weathering a full scale bombardment durring a siege. The budget focused millitary grade defenses has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Points of Interest
While private tutelage of worthy apprentices can be had even in most remote villages, Boke Itrālosh is home to a proper school dedicated to teaching magic. Such schools are usually small, with no more than a few dozen pupils, most of whom will fail for lack of talent or discipline. The instructors are rarely first-rate, usually serving only for the pay and status, but sometimes a genius sorcerer will find a reason to observe likely apprentices here. Given the unfortunate accident potential of the school, it’s probably isolated or well-fortified.
Boke Itrālosh is known for its odd use of round-a-bouts, small ring roads used in place of intersections.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Boke Itrālosh was attacked by soldiers from another nation, with orders to raid Boke Itrālosh. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Boke Itrālosh lost 206 people, 242 livestock, and 82 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 222, when members of Boke Itrālosh's militia enacted an operation to assassinate an enemy's family member. The operation was complicated by blistering heat, such that many succumbed to heatstroke. The conflict ended with the defense of the ruin against a siege, which ended in victory for Boke Itrālosh's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Boke Itrālosh's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
